stakeholder workshop
Climate change and vulnerability of recent carbon sinks under extreme events
15.-16. April 2010 at the PIK in Potsdam, Germany
The goals of this expert workshop are
- to bring together important decision-makers of different national and European levels and internationally recognised scientists in the field of carbon stocks and sequestration,
- to reveal their major concerns related to carbon stocks and fluxes, and to identify how CARBO-Extreme can contribute to these questions, and
- to identify most favourable means to communicate the results of our investigations to decision-makers at different national and international levels.

Data meeting (providers and users)
24.-26. November 2009 in Florence, Italy
The "data providers and data users: what is needed and what is available " meeting will be from Tue 24 morning (10:00) to Wed lunch, the "methodology for uncertainty quantification (also in the data) and parameter estimation" meeting from Wed after lunch to Thu afternoon.
